How often have you heard that phrase? It really is an example of the main rules of landscaping. Poor soil or soil which has not been amended can cause years of disappointment for the gardener. On a trip to our 2nd home on Vancouver Island, I made a decision that I would have liked to plant some evergreens and shrubs.
